Radiation Therapist
Duties and Responsibilities
- Uses beams of radiated lights to locate and treat cancerous tumors
- Also responsible for the safety of their patients
- Need to observer documents and any reactions to treatment
- Must update charts and answer any radiology related question
- Must follow all safety regulations regarding radiation exposure
Education
- Must have completed 2- or 4 years in radiation therapy or a degree in radiography combined with a 1 year program in radiation therapy
- Topics studied in these programs are physics, computer science and human anatomy
No I wouldn't like to work as one because it sounds like you have to deal with a lot of dying people and nit only that kids to i wouldn't like to be working like that
